KSC (UK) Ltd Service & Construction

After working for many years within the Pulp and Paper, Power and Petrochemical sectors, as well as working as Construction Manager for companies such as RWE, Klockner, Indumont and AE&E Lentjes, our Managing Director Hans-Walter Koch decided to form a group of companies to provide a second to none service for all of our clients.

This resulted in the formation of Koch Consult GmbH (est. 1985), followed by Koch Service and Construction GmbH and the latest addition to the group, Koch Service and Construction (UK) Ltd.

Since formation in 2007, KSC (UK) Ltd has grown to keep up with demand at an exceptional rate, and is proud to have been associated with such established and prestigious clientele as are listed below. We have built projects of various sizes and complexities, primarily for the Refining, Petrochemical, Pipeline, Pulp and Paper and Electric Power industries. These capital-intensive projects have included grassroots facilities, as well as project expansions, retrofitting, upgrades and turnarounds. We are establishing ourselves on major projects both in the UK and worldwide, and continue to build solid foundations and a reputation within our industry.

From the outset we were contracted by AE&E Lentjes to install five rubber-lined water process tanks for Rugeley Fluid Gas Desulpharisation Plant, which we completed in October 2008: We subsequently received additional work, taking us to completion of the project in September 2009. Other ongoing projects include the Uskmouth Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Project, in Newport, Wales, which we have been working on since June 2009.

The combined experience with Koch Consult GmbH and Koch Service and Construction GmbH is extensive, covering large and illustrious projects, worldwide, for two and a half decades. These have included the €750,000,000 Pulp and Paper contracts at Stendal/Arneburg, Germany (RWE AG, 2001 - 2004), and at South Sumatra, Indonesia (RWE AG, 1996-2000), as well as work for UHDE AG in Libya (2005-2006), Klockner-Industrie-Anlagen GmbH in Iran (1993-1995), and Indumont AG in Germany (1988-1993), amongst many others.
